Another rare species from the Himalayas which is similar in appearance to easter lilies.
Prefers part shade in the border for its roots. In the south plant in a cool shady spot. These bulbs are ~10 cm around bulbs (not as large as some lilies, but full size). They are probably not as hardy as other Lilies, but I could be wrong–Himalayan plants can be suprisingly cold hardy. In any case I would recommend protecting from hard freezing with a thick layer of leaves.
