Hymenocallis littoralis ‘Variegata’
I see this as the very best variegated amaryllid in existance. Originally from the west indies, it is still rare and hard to find in the bulb trade. These beauties can thrive in many differents water situations and make excellent semi-aquatic specimens. They are also drought hardy once established. Cold hardiness has not been tested, but I expect they will survive in zones 8+. Elsewhere they are suitable as an indoor foliage plant.
Bulbs are an inch or more across.
