We are happy to be one of the first to offer this in the bulb trade. Originally from Mexico, “Big Fatty” is so named because of its strong growing nature and wide leaves.
Bulbs are currently still small (less than 1″ across) but healthy. They are able to go fully dormant through the winter, and so I believe them to be cold hardy to zone 7 or 8.
