Ruby Giant crocus is a prized selection of the species Crocus tommasinianus.

Botanical Crocus bloom earlier and throw more flowers than their larger and more expensive cousins. These are the flowers the bloom through the snow! They are very reliable bulbs and multiply and naturalize easily. Plant in the lawn and you won’t even notice the foliage (just don’t mow too short before they’re finished recharging).
