Also called Cardwell Lily, this amaryllis relative is native to Southeast Asia and Australia. The attractive hosta-like leaves make a wonderful houseplant. Doesn't need a lot of light. Sometimes they bloom soon after planting, although we cannot guarantee this. Bulbs are small, less than 1 inch across so this rare, hard to find bulb is bargain priced. Leaves are used topically to treat boils in the Philippines, although we do not recommend medicinal use without consulting a healthcare professional.
