This exotic Gladiolus relative is native to the Ethiopian mountains. It is as fragrant as it is beautiful, and is hardy to zone 7 at least. Produces a succession of flowers from late summer into fall. Here in Arizona it grows between 1 and 2 feet, but in areas with cool summers it can grow to 4 feet tall! Bulbs are 6-8 cm round bulbs. |
