Leucocoryne ANDES
Leucocoryne is one of those “up and comming” cut flowers. It is very fragrant and lasts for a month or more in the vase. It prefers cool frost-free winter culture, but will grow in a cool window. Originally from Chile, it prefers a dry, warm summer dormancy.
Zones 9+. We grow them in zone 8 in a protected spot, but they don’t bloom on extra cold years.
Bulbs are naturally small, but full size at 4+ cm around.
